Good morning, Spartans! Michigan State baseball hosted its 20th-annual First Pitch Dinner Sunday afternoon at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center!

🔼 Outdoor Hockey! No. 2 Michigan State hockey earned a sweep of No. 5 Penn State in front of more than 74,000 fans on Saturday inside Beaver Stadium in Happy Valley, the second-largest crowd to ever watch a collegiate hockey game!
It was a weekend of hat tricks for the Spartans, with Anthony Romani collecting one in Friday’s win and Charlie Stramel on Saturday.

🔼 Rivalry Win! No. 15 Michigan State gymnastics earned a win over No. 10 Michigan on Sunday afternoon, scoring a season-high 197.525 points in Ann Arbor!
The Spartans earned their fourth-straight dual meet victory over the Wolverines with Sunday's win.

🔼 On The B1G Board! Michigan State wrestling won its first Big Ten dual of the season on Sunday, beating Northwestern inside Jenison Field House, 22-20!
Kael Wisler (197 pounds), Josh Terrill (heavyweight), Caleb Weiand (133 pounds), Clayton Jones (149 pounds) and Darius Marines (157 pounds) all earned wins for the Spartans.

🔼 Rally Falls Short. No. 7 Michigan State men’s basketball erased a 16-point halftime deficit to take a second-half lead against No. 3 Michigan on Friday night, but ultimately fell to the Wolverines, 83-71.
Jeremy Fears Jr. scored a career-high 31 points and handed out seven assists to lead the Spartans.

🔼 Extra Basketball. Michigan State women’s basketball’s Kennedy Blair scored with five seconds left in regulation to send the No. 13 Spartans to overtime against No. 9 Michigan on Sunday, but the Wolverines took control of the extra period and won, 94-91.
Blair and Jalyn Brown led the Spartans with 21 points apiece, followed by Inés Sotelo (15 points), Rashunda Jones (13 points) and Grace VanSlooten (12 points) in double figures.

🔼 Cross The Line! Michigan State track and field competed at a pair of events over the weekend, with Rylan Finstrom winning the women’s shot put at the Meyo Invitational at Notre Dame, and Dillon Morlock following that up with a win in the men’s shot put!
