🔼 Hot Start! Michigan State baseball made a statement on opening weekend, taking the first two games of its series at No. 8 Louisville to claim the upset!
Adam Broski and Randy Seymour led the Spartans with five hits each, while Seymour and Parker Picot each hit two home runs.

🔼 Badgered. No. 10 Michigan State men’s basketball fell behind early and couldn’t climb back at Wisconsin on Friday, losing to the Badgers, 92-71, in Madison.
Coen Carr led the Spartans with 19 points, followed by Jeremy Fears Jr. (14 points, 12 assists), Kur Teng (12 points) and Jordan Scott (11 points).

🔼 Within State Lines. No. 13 Michigan State women’s basketball dropped a Big Ten matchup at No. 7 Michigan on Sunday, 86-65.
The Spartans had three players in double figures — Kennedy Blair had her sixth double-double of the season with 21 points and 10 rebounds, Jalyn Brown added 11 points and Grace VanSlooten scored 10 points.

🔼 2-in-1. No. 11 Michigan State gymnastics posted a pair of event season highs and earned its third-straight conference win with a tri-meet victory over No. 24 Maryland and Western Michigan Sunday afternoon inside Jenison Field House!

🔼 Grab The Crown. Michigan State softball went 2-2 over the weekend at the Queen City Classic in Charlotte, picking up wins against No. 12 Virginia Tech and Villanova!
The win over the Hokies is already the second ranked win of the season for the Spartans, who are now 6-3 on the year.

🔼 Out East. Michigan State women’s tennis lost for the first time this spring over the weekend, dropping matches to Princeton and Columbia in New York.
The Spartans, now 5-2, are back in East Lansing this coming weekend, hosting Toledo and Dartmouth.

🔼 Music City Matchup. Michigan State men’s tennis traveled to Nashville on Sunday for a matchup at Vanderbilt, falling to the Commodores, 4-1.
The Spartans claimed the doubles point, but failed to add on during singles play.

🔼 Running Away. Michigan State track and field had a busy weekend spread across multiple meets, with competition highlighted by Logan Allen’s school record in the 60-meter hurdles at the Heartland Invitational!

🔼 B1G Finish. Michigan State wrestling closed out Big Ten dual action over the weekend, dropping contests to No. 14 Rutgers and No. 9 Minnesota.
The Spartans will wrap up the regular season this Friday against Central Michigan at Jenison Field House.
