🔼 Pop The Champaign. No. 11 Michigan State men’s basketball hits the road this weekend, traveling to Champaign, Ill. to take on the Illinois Fighting Illini tomorrow at 8 p.m. on FOX.

The Illini are 17-8 overall and 9-6 in Big Ten play, and are winners of two straight heading into tomorrow’s game.

🔼 No. 1 Next. No. 22 Michigan State women’s basketball heads to the West Coast this weekend, with a matchup at No. 1 UCLA next on the calendar this Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET.

The Bruins are perfect so far this season at 23-0 overall and 11-0 in Big Ten play.

🔼 Play Ball! Michigan State baseball opens its 2025 season this weekend, traveling to Cary, N.C. for four games.

The Spartans will play a pair of doubleheaders — today against Western Michigan starting at 4:30 p.m. and tomorrow with Monmouth starting at 9:30 a.m.

🔼 Week 2. Michigan State softball is in Athens, Ga. this weekend for five games at the Red & Black Showcase, beginning with a pair of games today against Longwood and host Georgia at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., respectively.

🔼 Rivalry On The Mat. Michigan State wrestling has its final two Big Ten matchups of the regular season this weekend, traveling to No. 12 Rutgers today at 7 p.m. before coming home to host No. 19 Michigan on Sunday at noon.

🔼 Landing In Lincoln. No. 6 Michigan State gymnastics is away from home this weekend, traveling to Lincoln, Neb. to take on the No. 23 Nebraska Cornhuskers tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET.

🔼 Virginia Is For Tennis. Michigan State women’s tennis will be in Virginia this weekend for a pair of matches in Lynchburg — tomorrow against James Madison and Sunday against Liberty.

🔼 Split Squad. Michigan State track and field will split up this weekend between three meets — the GVSU Big Meet in Allendale, the Windy City Invitational in Chicago and the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston.

🔼 Great Goalie. Michigan State goaltender Trey Augustine has been named a semifinalist for a pair of prestigious awards — the James E. Sullivan and Mike Richter Awards!
