🔼 International Impact. Michigan State hockey has been all over the IIHF World Junior Championships, with four players on three separate teams.

Tommi Männistö scored for Team Finland on Tuesday to help the Finns advance to the semifinals, where a matchup with Trey Augustine, Isaac Howard and Team USA awaits. Maxim Štrbák also suited up for Team Slovakia at the tournament.

🔼 Beat At The Buzzer. Michigan State women’s basketball traded baskets with No. 4 Iowa all night on Tuesday, but the Hawkeyes had the final possession and pulled out a 76-73 win in Iowa City.

Julia Ayrault scored 16 points to lead the Spartans, while DeeDee Hagemann (14), Moira Joiner (10) and Tory Ozment (10) joined her in double figures.

🔼 Walker On The Run. Michigan State men’s basketball has won four straight games as it heads into tomorrow night’s matchup with Penn State.
