🔼 Land Of Corn. Michigan State men’s basketball heads west this Sunday in search of its first Big Ten win at Nebraska.

The Cornhuskers are 7-2 but have lost two straight, including their Big Ten opener at Minnesota on Wednesday.

Sunday’s matchup will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.

🔼 Irish In Town. Fully rested after last week’s bye, No. 7 Michigan State men’s hockey hosts No. 20 Notre Dame this weekend at Munn Ice Arena for a two-game series.

The Irish are 8-6-2 on the season and 4-2-2 in Big Ten play, including a sweep of Ohio State and one win against both Minnesota and Michigan.

Josh Terrill (285 pounds) won by tech fall for the Spartans, while Caleb Weiand (125), Jordan Hamdan (141) and Caleb Fish (165) all won by major decision.
