🔼 Put The Irish On Ice. Munn Ice Arena continues to be one of the most difficult places in the country for opposing teams to play, as No. 7 Michigan State hockey swept No. 20 Notre Dame over the weekend!

The Spartans are now 12-4-2 on the season, with a 7-1-2 mark in conference play and 9-0-1 record at home.

🔼 Rough Road. In a game that went back-and-forth for the full 40 minutes, Michigan State men’s basketball led Nebraska with just over three minutes left, but ultimately fell 77-70 on the road in Lincoln.

Malik Hall led the scoring charge for the Spartans with a season-high 22 points.

🔼 Just Short. Michigan State women’s basketball trailed Nebraska by 17 points with under three minutes remaining on Saturday and just about stormed all the way back, but ultimately fell 80-74 in its Big Ten opener.

Theryn Hallock scored nine points and registered a pair of assists and steals in the fourth quarter to lead the comeback attempt.
