๐ผ Transformational Commitment! Michigan State University has announced a historic $401 million commitment from Greg and Dawn Williams!
Made through the university's "Uncommon Will, Far Better World" campaign and in support of MSU Athletics' FOR SPARTA initiative, this is the largest single commitment in the history of MSU and one of the largest single amounts in college athletics history.

๐ผ Down Goes No. 1! No. 3 Michigan State hockey bounced back from a Game 1 loss to No. 1 Michigan on Friday with a 3-1 win over the Wolverines on Saturday in Ann Arbor!
The Spartans out-shot Michigan 33-31 and went 4-for-5 on the penalty kill. Junior goaltender Trey Augustine made 30 saves in goal, good for a .968 save percentage. Augustine made 27 saves over the final two periods.

๐ผ Downed By Duke. No. 7 Michigan State menโs basketball fell for the first time this season over the weekend, with No. 4 Duke beating the Spartans at the Breslin Center, 66-60.
Carson Cooper had his first career double-double with 16 points and a career-high 16 rebounds, Jaxon Kohler scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds, Coen Carr scored 10 points and grabbed four rebounds and Jeremy Fears Jr. added six points and tied a career-high with 13 assists.

๐ผ Rough Road. No. 20 Michigan State womenโs basketball suffered its first loss of the season on Sunday in its Big Ten opener at Wisconsin, losing to the Badgers, 78-64.
Kennedy Blair (16 points) and Isaline Alexander (12 points) scored in double figures for the Spartans. Blair added seven rebounds and seven assists.

๐ผ Twice As Nice! Michigan State wrestling picked up its second and third wins of the season over the weekend in the Carolinas, beating both Gardner-Webb and The Citadel on the road!
