🔼 Back And Forth Battle. In a matchup of Top 25 teams, it was No. 17/19 Michigan State women’s basketball who ended up on top in a 68-66 win over No. 21/25 Iowa at the Breslin Center on Sunday.
The Spartans erased a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter to earn the win, which pushed them to 10-0 on the season. Julia Ayrault led the way with 19 points, followed by Nyla Hampton (14) and Grace VanSlooten (14).
🔼 Proved It. No. 2/3 Michigan State hockey traveled to Minneapolis this past weekend and earned a series win against No. 1 Minnesota!
After earning a shootout win on Friday night, the Spartans used four third-period goals on Saturday to win 5-3 over the Gophers. Isaac Howard had a pair of goals in the win, Maxim Štrbák had the game-tying goal and assist, Charlie Stramel scored the eventual game-winner and Red Savage added an empty-netter.
