🔼 Second Half Surge. Down three points at halftime at Penn State on Saturday, No. 9 Michigan State men’s basketball came surging back in the second half against the Nittany Lions to win, 76-72.
Divine Ugochukwu was instrumental in the win, scoring a career-high 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor and 5-of-5 from deep. Jaxon Kohler registered a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds, while Carson Cooper added 10 points and six rebounds.

🔼 Sunday In Chicago! No. 25 Michigan State women’s basketball improved to 9-1 on Sunday, with five Spartans scoring in double figures in a 90-46 win at DePaul.
Kennedy Blair led the team with 16 points, followed by Isaline Alexander (15), Grace VanSlooten (14), Rashunda Jones (13) and Jalyn Brown (11).
🔼 Practice Run. Michigan State gymnastics opened the 2026 season on Saturday with its annual Green and White exhibition meet at Jenison Field House!
Competing in the all-around for the first time in her career, junior MaKayla Tucker won the all-around title, followed by seniors Nikki Smith and Olivia Zsarmani in second and third, respectively. Seven Spartans competed in the all-around Saturday.
