🔼 Pulled Away. Locked in a tight contest late against Minnesota, Michigan State men’s basketball uncorked a 10-2 run to pull away and win, 76-66.
Tyson Walker made plenty of plays in the contest, scoring 21 points to lead the Spartans. Malik Hall added 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Jaden Akins scored 10 points.

🔼 Talkin’ Ball. Michigan State head football coach Jonathan Smith held a press conference yesterday to give an update on the program and to chat about the midyear enrollees for the spring semester!
🔼 Twin Cities Tilt. The most explosive offense in the Big Ten is on the road this weekend — Michigan State women’s basketball heads to the Twin Cities tomorrow to take on Minnesota at 3 p.m.
The Gophers and Spartans sport identical 13-4 overall and 3-3 conference records.
🔼 Let’s Get Started. One of the most highly-anticipated seasons in Michigan State men’s tennis history gets underway today!
The No. 22 Spartans host Western Michigan and Brown at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively.
🔼 No. 1 In Town. Michigan State wrestling is set for a big test this weekend — the Spartans have No. 14 Rutgers in town for a 6:30 p.m. dual tonight, before No. 1 Penn State comes to town on Sunday for a 1 p.m. matchup.
🔼 B1G Time. It’s Big Ten dual season for No. 16 Michigan State gymnastics!
The Spartans are on the road today for a 6 p.m. contest at Penn State. The Nittany Lions are 4-0 in the early-goings of the season, most recently beating No. 21 Iowa State.
🔼 Enemy Territory. A week after traveling over to Ann Arbor to compete at the Wolverine Invitational, Michigan State track & field is right back in enemy territory this weekend for the Simmons-Harvey Invite.
🔼 Headed To Better Weather. Michigan State women’s tennis kicks off its season this weekend, and we would like to join — the Spartans are escaping the cold and are headed to Tucson, Ariz. for matchups against Missouri, Arizona and BYU.
