🔼 Island Vibes. Michigan State men’s basketball got a win in its first game at the Maui Invitational on Monday, beating Colorado, 72-56.
Jase Richardson scored a career-high 13 points to lead the Spartans, who handed the Buffalo their first loss of the season.
The Spartans play again today at 6 p.m. ET against Memphis, who took down No. 2 UConn on Monday.

🔼 Tip-Off From Cali. Michigan State women’s hoops is in Palm Springs, Calif. this week, matching up with Cal today in its first game of the Acrisure Classic.
The Bears have an identical 6-0 record to the Spartans, beating Auburn their last time out. After their matchup with the Cal, the Spartans will take on either Arizona or Vanderbilt.
🔼 Pro Player. Michigan State volleyball’s Nalani Iosia is going pro!
Iosia became the first Spartan ever to be drafted into the Pro Volleyball Federation, taken as the seventh pick in the fifth round by the Orlando Valkyries during Monday’s draft.
