🔼 What A Run. Michigan State men’s tennis standout Ozan Baris reached new heights over the weekend, becoming the first Spartan ever to reach the NCAA Individual Championship final.
Baris ended his run in Waco as the national runner-up, falling in a third-set tiebreaker in Sunday’s final.
🔼 Boiled Over. Michigan State football got back in the win column on Friday night, using a big second quarter to win 24-17 over Purdue at Spartan Stadium! The Spartans host Rutgers next Saturday on Senior Day with an opportunity to become bowl-eligible.

🔼 Aloha, Maui! Michigan State men’s hoops is in Hawaii this week for the Maui Invitational, with a matchup against Colorado today at 5 p.m. ET first up!
The rest of the Maui Invitational field includes Memphis, UConn, Auburn, Iowa State, Dayton and North Carolina.
🔼 (Bitter)Sweet Ending. Michigan State women’s soccer saw its season come to an end on Sunday in the Sweet 16, falling to top seed Duke, 2-0, in Durham, N.C.
MSU finishes its 2024 campaign at 14-3-5, concluding its historic season that included the program's first No. 1 ranking in the United Soccer Coaches Poll and the nation's longest unbeaten streak from Aug. 15 to Oct. 13. Sunday marked MSU's second all-time appearance in the NCAA Third Round in as many years after earning a bid to the NCAA Tournament in three-straight seasons for the first time in program history.
🔼 Three Straight. Michigan State volleyball picked up its fifth Big Ten win on Saturday, sweeping Maryland at the Breslin Center.
The Spartans hit .320 as a team to down the Terrapins, led by Aliyah Moore and Akasha Anderson, who hit .625 and .400, respectively.

🔼 Fast-Paced. Freshman Rachel Forsyth ran to a 16th-place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, earning All-American status and leading the Spartans to a 21st-place finish as a team.
Forsyth is the first Spartan All-American since Jenna Magness in 2021.
🔼 Wrestling At West Point. Michigan State wrestling competed at the Black Knight Invitational on Sunday, finishing third as a team in the nine-team field.
The Spartans had six wrestlers reach the semifinals in their respective weight classes, with Tristan Lujan and Luke Daly finishing third.
