🔼 Friday Night Lights. Michigan State football kicks off against Purdue tonight at 8 p.m. on FOX! Get ready for kickoff with us:

🔼 Round 2! No. 5 seed Michigan State women’s soccer is in Durham, N.C. today for an NCAA Second Round matchup against Texas at 4 p.m.

The Spartans advanced to Round 2 thanks to a 3-1 win over Western Michigan last weekend, while the Longhorns made their way to Durham by way of a 4-1 win over Boston.

🔼 Keep On Moving On. Michigan State men’s tennis’ Ozan Baris is into the quarterfinals of the NCAA Individual Championships, taking down Pedro Vives Marcos of TCU in three sets in Thursday’s Round of 16.

Baris will play Jay Friend of Arizona today at 11 a.m.

🔼 Excellent Exhibition. No. 2 Michigan State hockey picked up a quality exhibition win on Thursday, beating the US National Team Development Program, 6-2, in Plymouth.

Isaac Howard, Charlie Stramel, Gavin O’Connell, Griffin Jurecki, Patrick Geary and Tiernan Shoudy all scored a goal for the Spartans.

🔼 Last Call. Michigan State cross country’s season culminates in Madison, Wis. this weekend for the NCAA Championships tomorrow at 10:20 a.m.

The Spartan women earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Championships thanks to a strong showing at the Great Lakes Regional, and Riley Hough punched his ticket on the men’s side thanks to a seventh-place finish last weekend.

🔼 On The Mat. Michigan State wrestling is in West Point, N.Y. this weekend for the Black Knight Invitational on Sunday.

After this weekend’s tournament, the Spartans will take two weeks away from competition before traveling to CSU Bakersfield on Dec. 15.

🔼 Duck Fight. Michigan State volleyball welcomed Big Ten newcomer Oregon to the Breslin Center on Thursday, falling in three sets to the No. 13 Ducks.

Karolina Staniszewska collected her first double-double of the season, finishing with 10 kills and 10 digs.

The Spartans are back at it tomorrow, welcoming Maryland to town at 1 p.m.
