Women's soccer is into the NCAA Second Round!
Good morning, Spartans! Michigan State football will kick off at 3:30 p.m. this Saturday at Iowa.

🔼 Iced The Irish. No. 1 Michigan State hockey improved to 4-0 in Big Ten play over the weekend, sweeping Notre Dame in South Bend!
The Spartans dominated the Irish, outscoring them 7-2 over the course of two games on their home ice.

🔼 Movin’ On! No. 2 seed Michigan State women’s soccer is into the second round of the NCAA Tournament after beating Milwaukee, 4-1, in a first-round matchup at DeMartin Stadium on Friday night!
The Spartans got goals from each of its top three scorers on the season – Kennedy Bell put the Spartans up 1-0 in the 20th minute, and Kayla Briggs and Emerson Sargeant scored three minutes apart early in the second half to open up a tight score.
MSU will host second- and third-round games at DeMartin this week - starting with a Thursday (6 p.m.) game against Wake Forest.

🔼 In-State Triumph. No. 24 Michigan State women’s basketball moved to 4-0 on Sunday, with senior Isaline Alexander’s career-high 20 points helping lead the Spartans to a 98-44 win over Western Michigan at the Breslin Center.
Grace VanSlooten added a season-high 19 points, Kennedy Blair overcame a slow start and ended with 14 points to go along with eight rebounds and eight assists and Rashunda Jones scored 13 points with four steals.

🔼 One More Run! Michigan State men's cross country was awarded an at-large bid to compete at the 2025 NCAA Championships in Columbia, Missouri on Saturday, while Rachel Forsyth was selected as an individual on the women's side!

🔼 Cat Fight. Michigan State football trailed by just four points at halftime, but Penn State scored a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter to break open a close game as the Spartans lost, 28-10, on Senior Day at Spartan Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

🔼 Split Mat. Michigan State wrestling went 1-1 in dual action over the weekend, dominating LIU on Friday, 34-0, before falling to Rider on Sunday.
Kael Wisler (197 pounds) and Max Vanadia (heavyweight) each earned tech falls against LIU on Friday.

🔼 Here And There. Michigan State volleyball dropped a pair of Big Ten matches over the weekend, in three sets at home against No. 11 Wisconsin on Friday and on the road at Michigan on Sunday.
