The men finished third as a team, their best finish since 2017. Andrew Nolan led the way with a sixth place finish.

🔼 For A Good Cause. At one point down 18 points, Michigan State men’s basketball stormed all the way back against Tennessee in a charity exhibition game at the Breslin Center Sunday, but ultimately fell 89-88.

Tyson Walker led the Spartans in scoring with 22, and added four assists and five steals. Malik Hall had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The Spartans scored first and held a 1-0 lead at halftime thanks to a goal from Emerson Sargeant, but a pair of goals from Iowa in the second half was the difference.

Michigan State will now await seeding information for the NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament, which will be announced on Nov. 6.

🔼 Tough Loss. Michigan State football suffered another tough defeat on the road at Minnesota over the weekend, 27-12.

The Spartans came out hot with two goals in the first period to grab a lead, and two more goals in the fourth to put the game away.

It was a two-goal game heading into the third period, but three goals from BC in the period stretched the lead.
