🔼 Tipping For Charity. Michigan State men’s basketball tips it up for its second exhibition game of the year this Sunday — this one against a perennial NCAA Tournament team in the Tennessee Volunteers.

The Volunteers, currently ranked No. 9 in the AP Top 25 Preseason Poll, are the highest ranked non-conference team to visit East Lansing since 2017.

All proceeds from the game will be donated to the Hawai’i Community Foundation Maui Strong Fund, providing financial resources to the relief efforts from the devastating Maui wildfires.

🔼 Back Again Tonight. No. 8 Michigan State men’s hockey dropped the opening game of its series with No. 3 Boston College, 6-4 on Thursday night.

The Spartans continued to find the net at a high clip, reaching the four-goal mark for the seventh time in seven games this season.

Karsen Dorwart scored twice for the Spartans, and Jeremy Davidson and Red Savage each contributed one.

The two teams are back out on the ice tonight at 7 p.m.

🔼 Gopher Game. Michigan State football gets another shot at a bounce-back this weekend with a trip to Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers. Here’s everything you need to get ready for game day:

The Spartans and Hawkeyes just matched up this past Sunday, and it ended in a 3-0 Michigan State win.

The winner of this Sunday’s matchup will take on the winner of the Penn State-Indiana matchup.

🔼 Finishing Up. Michigan State men’s soccer has one last regular season match this evening against Drake.

While the Spartans are outside of Big Ten action this weekend, the rest of the conference will settle the final league standings — as of this morning, Michigan State is tied at the top of the standings with 13 points.

🔼 Badgers And Lions. Michigan State volleyball hosts a pair of top-15 teams this weekend with No. 2 Wisconsin and No. 13 Penn State coming to town.

The Badgers (18-1, 9-1 B1G) are first up this evening, before the Nittany Lions (14-5, 8-2 B1G) on Sunday.

Michigan State finds itself right in the middle of the pack in the Big Ten at 5-5 heading into the weekend.

🔼 Final Weekend. Michigan State field hockey’s final regular season weekend includes a rivalry game on the road and Senior Day at Ralph Young Field!

The Spartans are in Ann Arbor tonight to take on the No. 16 Wolverines (8-7, 2-5 B1G) in a battle for bragging rights, before coming home on Sunday to host Ball State (7-9, 4-1 MAC) and celebrate the team’s senior class.
