🔼 First Time. Michigan State women’s soccer made history on Sunday, beating Rutgers in Piscataway for the first time in program history!

The Spartans got goals from Bella Najera and Celia Gaynor in their 2-0 win over the Scarlet Knights, and gained ground on the top of the Big Ten standings in the process.

🔼 Rough Road. Michigan State football held a 17-6 lead at halftime against Rutgers on Saturday but couldn’t hold on, losing 27-24.

🔼 Split Series. After dropping the series opener to Air Force on Thursday night, Michigan State men’s hockey took Game 2 on Friday, 5-3.

Joey Larson collected his first career hat trick in the victory and added an assist on top of it for the Spartans, who are now 3-1 on the year.

🔼 Came From Behind. Michigan State men’s soccer turned a 2-0 halftime deficit into a 2-2 draw against Maryland on Alumni Day yesterday.

Jake Spadafora got MSU on the board in the 59th minute, and Jonathan Stout found the equalizer in the 77th minute.

The Spartans have tied four of their last six games, but are still unbeaten at 6-0-6 on the season.

🔼 One Up, One Down. Michigan State volleyball dropped its match against No. 2 Nebraska on Friday night in four sets, but left the weekend with a win over Iowa on Saturday to remain at .500 in Big Ten play.
