🔼 Media Day In Minny. Michigan State head men’s basketball coach Tom Izzo and players Jaden Akins, Malik Hall, AJ Hoggard and Tyson Walker were in Minneapolis yesterday for Big Ten Media Day!

🔼 Nothing Going. Michigan State and Michigan men’s soccer played 90 minutes without either team finding the net on Tuesday, ending the match in a 0-0 draw.

Spartan goaltender Zac Kelly was fantastic with four saves, including this one with less than seven minutes remaining in the match.

🔼 Second Star. Four points in two games against Lake Superior State last weekend earned Nicolas Müller the Big Ten Second Star of the Week!

Müller scored the first goal of the season for the Spartans, and assisted on three others in the team’s two wins.

🔼 Solid Showing. In a field crowded with talented teams, Michigan State women’s golf finished fourth at the Tar Heel Invite on Tuesday.

Brooke Biermann led the way for the Spartans, finishing a shot outside of the top-10 at even par and in 12th place. Katie Lu and Leila Raines finished just behind Biermann and 1-over and 2-over, respectively.
