🔼 Hot On The Ice. No. 3 Michigan State hockey got off to a hot start in its season-opening exhibition against Windsor on Friday, winning 4-0 at Munn Ice Arena!

🔼 All Square. Michigan State women’s soccer earned a 1-1 draw with No. 21 Ohio State on Sunday at DeMartin Stadium, outshooting the Buckeyes 22-7 on the day.

After the Buckeyes scored the opening goal of the match in the 44th minute, Bella Najera answered for the Spartans in the 62nd minute.

🔼 Split A Pair. Michigan State volleyball went on the road for a pair of Big Ten matches over the weekend, beating Northwestern in four sets on Friday before falling in five sets to Illinois on Sunday.

🔼 Cat Fight. Michigan State men’s soccer welcomed a crowd of over 4,000 fans to DeMartin Stadium for its annual Pink Game against Penn State on Friday, with the Spartans falling 2-1 to the visiting Nittany Lions.

Richie Ludwig opened the scoring for the Spartans in the 29th minute.

🔼 Playing Host. Michigan State women's tennis wrapped up action in the Michigan State Classic presented by Auto Owner's Insurance on Sunday morning, with several Spartans finding success in singles competition.

🔼 Final Service. Michigan State men's tennis players senior David Saye and sophomore Mitchell Sheldon traveled to Holland, Michigan, to compete in the Hope College RSM Invite, playing in both singles and doubles over the weekend in the three-day tournament at Dewitt Tennis Center/Vande-Poel Heeringa Courts in Holland.

🔼 Road Work. Michigan State football rallied from a halftime deficit to take a 21-14 lead in the third quarter, but Nebraska came back to beat the Spartans, 38-27, Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.

🔼 Second Serve. Danyle Courtley wasn’t sure she would ever put on the Spartan jersey again following an injury last season. After months of rehab and encouragement from her family and teammates, she is spending her final year of eligibility back on the court.
