🔼 Let The Games Begin! No. 3 Michigan State hockey got its season underway on Friday night, welcoming No. 12 Boston College for an exhibition matchup at Munn Ice Arena and greeting the Eagles with five goals in a 5-2 victory!
Sophomore forward Eric Nilson had a breakout performance with four points on the night (two goals, two assists), and his line produced eight points in total.
🔼 Better Late! No. 2 Michigan State women’s soccer earned a thrilling win on the road over Illinois on Sunday, with Bella Najera finding the back of the net in the 86th minute to give the Spartans a 1-0 win over the Illini!
The Spartans improve to 9-1-2 and are now 5-1 in Big Ten play.
🔼 LA Livin’! Michigan State volleyball won a pair of matches during its trip to Los Angeles over the weekend, beating UCLA in three sets on Friday night and USC in five sets on Sunday!
The Spartans are now 13-1 overall this season and 3-1 in Big Ten play with two home matches up next this coming weekend against Oregon and Iowa.
🔼 Battled The Badgers. Michigan State football traveled to Wisconsin over the weekend for its first Big Ten road contest of the season, falling to the Badgers, 31-3.
Jaziun Patterson led the Spartans on the ground for the second game in a row with 62 yards on 18 carries, while Marvis Parrish had 11 carries for 36 yards.

🔼 Weekend Out West. No. 8 Michigan State men’s soccer dropped its first Big Ten match of the season over the weekend in Los Angeles, falling to UCLA, 3-0.
The Spartans are now 7-2-1 overall this season and 3-1-0 in conference action.
🔼 B1G Bouts. Michigan State field hockey played two ranked opponents over the weekend, dropping a pair of one-score games to No. 13 Indiana and No. 6 Iowa at Ralph Young Field.
The Spartans’ Friday contest against the Hoosiers served as the program’s Senior Day celebration.
🔼 Home Court! Michigan State women’s tennis put together a successful weekend hosting the Spartan Invite in East Lansing, with six Spartans combining to win 14 matches over the course of three days!
