🔼 Northern Dominance! No. 1 Michigan State hockey pushed its win streak to five games over the weekend, sweeping Northern Michigan on the road while outscoring the Wildcats 10-2 over the two games.
🔼 B1G Finale. No. 13 Michigan State women’s soccer closed out the regular season with a 1-0 road win at Nebraska on Sunday, ending with a 10-3-5 record overall and 7-1-3 mark in conference play.
The Spartans have secured the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament in West Lafayette, Ind. and will play on Sunday, Nov. 2.
🔼 Shakeout Run. Michigan State cross country dominated in its last regular season race on Friday at the Eastern Michigan Classic, with seven of the top-13 finishers at Hudson Mills Metropark being Spartans.
Next up for Michigan State is the Big Ten Championships this Friday at Forest Akers East Golf Course.
🔼 Senior Day. Michigan State men's soccer dropped a 2-0 decision to Kansas City on Sunday at DeMartin Stadium to complete non-conference action.
Following the game, the Spartans honored their senior class. All seven seniors were able to see time on the pitch on Sunday. MSU also honored alumni from several decades at half time.
🔼 Battled Back. Michigan State scored 13 points in the fourth quarter but fell to No. 25 Michigan, 31-20, in front of a sellout crowd of 75,085 fans at Spartan Stadium Saturday night.
🔼 Out On The Road. Michigan State volleyball dropped a pair of road contests over the weekend to Iowa and No. 1 Nebraska.
The Spartans are now 15-5 overall and 5-5 in Big Ten play.
🔼 In Bloom. Michigan State field hockey played its third consecutive ranked opponent on Sunday, falling 6-1 on the road to No. 20 Indiana.
Caro Schafer scored the lone goal for the Spartans against the Hoosiers.
