🔼 Trophy Game. Michigan State men’s soccer plays host to Michigan today at 7 p.m. in the Battle for the Big Bear Trophy!
Tonight’s match represents the 25th anniversary of the Battle for the Big Bear Trophy, which originated in 2000. The Spartans lead the series 14-5-4 during that time.

🔼 Football, Foliage, Fun. There’s something really special about Saturdays in the fall in East Lansing — this past weekend was yet another great example!
🔼 All The Acclaim. The Big Ten has announced its weekly football awards, and Michigan State wide receiver Nick Marsh has earned his second Freshman of the Week award after catching eight passes for 113 yards in a win against Iowa on Saturday!
And that’s not all — Jonathan Kim, after kicking a school-record six field goals against Iowa, has earned Special Teams Player of the Week!
🔼 Red, White & Blue. Former Michigan State baseball player Sam Benschoter has been named to the USA Baseball roster for the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Premier12™ presented by RAXUS, announced Monday afternoon.
Benschoter struck out 143 hitters in 45 career appearances for the Spartans from 2017-2021, including 17 strikeouts in a 9.1-inning relief appearance against Nebraska in 2021.
