🔼 Sweet Sweep! No. 3/4 Michigan State hockey flexed its muscle over the weekend, traveling to Boston and sweeping the No. 1 Terriers to improve to 3-1-0 on the season.
The Spartans scored three first-period goals in Game 1 to eventually win by a 4-2 final score, and pulled out a 4-3 win in overtime in Game 2 to secure the sweep over the top-ranked team in the country.

🔼 Sunday Fun Day. No. 16 Michigan State women’s soccer earned a dominant win on Sunday, beating Illinois, 5-1, in its regular season home finale. The five goals that Michigan State scored were the most given up by the Illini all season.
The Spartans are now 9-3-5 and 6-1-3 in Big Ten play.

🔼 Weekend Double. Michigan State volleyball ended its weekend with a win on Sunday, outlasting Maryland in five sets to improve to 15-3 overall and 5-3 in Big Ten play.
Earlier in the weekend, the Spartans set a program attendance record with No. 1 Nebraska in town, with 11,578 fans at the Breslin Center.

🔼 Upset City! Michigan State field hockey picked up its first ranked win of the season on Sunday, erasing a two-goal deficit to No. 12 Ohio State to beat the Buckeyes, 4-3, at Ralph Young Field.

🔼 Nutty Run. Michigan State men’s cross country made a statement at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Friday, finishing seventh in a stacked field of 32 teams, 16 of those ranked.

🔼 Road Rivalry. Michigan State football traveled to Bloomington, Ind. on Saturday and fell to the No. 3 Hoosiers, 38-13.
Spartan junior quarterback Aidan Chiles was 27-of-33 passing for 243 yards and one touchdown; he completed a career-best 82 percent of his passes while also leading the team in rushing with 48 yards on eight carries, including a career-long 64-yard rush in the fourth quarter. At one point, Chiles completed a school-record 20 consecutive passes, which tied the second-longest completion streak in any Big Ten Conference game.

🔼 Not Enough Offense. Michigan State men’s soccer fell to Wisconsin on Friday night, 2-0, after surrendering a pair of second-half goals to the Badgers at McClimon Soccer Stadium in Madison.
