🔼 Friday Night Lights. Michigan State football travels to the west coast this week, playing No. 6 Oregon under the Autzen Stadium lights tomorrow on FOX at 9:05 p.m. ET.

The Ducks are 4-0 on the season and won their inaugural Big Ten game last week, beating fellow conference newcomer UCLA, 34-13.

The two teams played scoreless for much of the match, until in the 63rd minute Michigan State’s Jack Guggemos broke through for a goal and gave the Spartans three more crucial points in conference play.

🔼 Deja Vu. For the second time in as many games, Michigan State field hockey picked up a double-overtime win on Tuesday, taking down Miami (Ohio), 2-1, at Ralph Young Field.

Trailing 1-0 heading into the fourth quarter, the Spartans got a goal from Emma O’Neill to force overtime, and a score from Ellie Rutherford in the second overtime gave Michigan State its sixth win of the season.
