🔼 Top-5 Showdown. No. 3/4 Michigan State hockey is set to play the marquee series of the weekend, traveling up to Beantown for two games against No. 1 Boston University.
Boston University is 2-0-1 coming off a 1-0-1 weekend against Colgate. The Terriers skated to a 2-2 tie with Colgate on Saturday, but won the shootout. They knocked off Colgate, 6-2, in game one. BU opened the season with a 4-2 win over LIU on Oct. 4.
🔼 Into Indiana. Michigan State football is on the road this weekend, traveling to Bloomington, Ind. tomorrow for a 3:30 p.m. game against No. 3 Indiana in the Battle for the Old Brass Spittoon!
🔼 Eight Ball. No. 16 Michigan State women’s soccer used a pair of goals in the final five minutes of the opening half to post a 2-0 victory over Indiana on Thursday night in East Lansing, pushing its record to 8-3-5 overall and 5-1-3 in Big Ten play!

🔼 Top-Ranked Test. Michigan State volleyball is at home for a pair of matches this weekend, first hosting No. 1 Nebraska today at 7 p.m. before welcoming Maryland on Sunday at 1 p.m.
🔼 Running Away. Michigan State cross country is in Madison, Wis. this morning, running at the Nuttycombe Invitational hosted by Wisconsin.
The Spartans have just two races left before hosting the Big Ten Championships at Forest Akers East Golf Course on Friday, Oct. 31.
🔼 Badger Battle. Michigan State men’s soccer plays its second consecutive road match today, with the Spartans in Madison, Wis. for an 8 p.m. contest against the Badgers.
Wisconsin is 4-6 overall this season and 1-4 in Big Ten play.
🔼 Homestand Finale. Michigan State field hockey plays the fifth of its five-game homestand this weekend, hosting Ohio State at Ralph Young Field this Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Buckeyes are 7-5 overall this season and carry a four-game win streak into this weekend.
