๐ผ Earned It. No. 18/15 Michigan State menโs basketball improved to 3-0 in Big Ten play over the weekend, earning a hard-fought victory over Ohio State in Columbus, 69-62.
Szymon Zapala led the way with 15 points, followed by Jaden Akins (14 points) and Coen Carr (11 points).
๐ผ Walk-Off Homer. No. 1 Michigan State hockey earned yet another win on Saturday, but it was unlike the 16 others it had collected โ Daniel Russell scored with 1.4 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Spartans a 4-3 win over Wisconsin in the Frozen Confines event at Wrigley Field.
Russell scored two goals in the contest, while Isaac Howard and Vladislav Lukashevich each scored once.
๐ผ Off And Tumbling. No. 11 Michigan State gymnastics is 1-0, thanks to a dominant season-opening win over Western Michigan on Saturday, 196.850-194.675.
The Spartansโ 196.850 ranks third behind No. 1 Oklahoma (197.550) and No. 2 LSU (197.300) in NCAA season openers so far in 2025.
