🔼 West Coast Swing. No. 7 Michigan State men’s basketball makes its first Big Ten trip to the West Coast this weekend, tipping off against USC tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. ET on Peacock.

The Trojans are 12-8 overall so far this season and 4-5 in their first Big Ten season.

🔼 Duck Date. No. 16 Michigan State women’s basketball lost at home for the first time this season on Thursday, falling 63-59 to visiting Oregon.

The Spartans outscored the Ducks 19-8 in the fourth quarter as part of a valiant comeback, but couldn’t find enough buckets to take the lead. Julia Ayrault and Grace VanSlooten led the way with 14 points each.

🔼 Game 2 Tonight. No. 2 Michigan State hockey fell on the road Thursday night in its first game of a two-game series at No. 11 Ohio State, 4-2.

Karsen Dorwart and David Gucciardi scored the pair of goals for the Spartans, and Matt Basgall added an assist.

Puck drop for Game 2 of the series is set for today at 8 p.m.

🔼 Top-10 Showdown. No. 5 Michigan State gymnastics will also be in Los Angeles this weekend, taking on No. 6 UCLA inside Pauley Pavilion tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

Tomorrow’s meet will be the first-ever live gymnastics meet on FOX.

🔼 B1G Break. Michigan State wrestling steps outside of Big Ten action this weekend, hosting Clarion on Sunday at 1 p.m. for its Senior Celebration.

The Spartans wrestled at Clarion last season, winning 25-13.

🔼 Southeast Swing. No. 16 Michigan State men’s tennis is on the road again this weekend, traveling first to Knoxville, Tenn. today for a top-20 matchup at No. 19 Tennessee, before heading to Clemson on Sunday to play against the Tigers.

🔼 In-State Host. After winning a pair of matches last weekend at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center, Michigan State women’s tennis is right back at it again this Sunday — the Spartans host Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan, starting at 10 a.m.

🔼 Split Squad. Michigan State track and field athletes will be in two locations this weekend, split between South Bend, Ind. for the Meyo Invite and Louisville, Ky. for the PNC Lenny Lyles.

🔼 First Tee. Both Michigan State men’s and women’s golf are teeing it up this weekend for the first time this spring — the men are in Lake Wales, Fla. for the Spartan/Wildcat Duel, while the women travel to Rio Grande, Puerto Rico for the Puerto Rico Classic.
