🔼 One Of The Best. Michigan State softball’s Hannah Hawley has earned some big-time preseason praise — D1Softball has included her on the Preseason D100 Player rankings at No. 100!

Hawley enjoyed a breakout campaign in her first season as a Spartan in 2024, leading the team in batting average (.349), on-base percentage (.462) and OPS (1.133). The Coventry, Rhode Island native also paced the Spartans in hits (52), extra base hits (24) and walks (25). Hawley split her time behind the plate and at third base for MSU last season.

🔼 Leading The Way. After a six-point weekend against Penn State, including a five-point game in Friday’s win, Michigan State hockey’s Isaac Howard now leads the country with 33 points through 22 games!

🔼 Historic Matchup. For the first time ever this week, the MSU Indoor Tennis Center will host a Top 25 matchup as the No. 23 Spartans host No. 7 Kentucky on Friday!

🔼 Sister Act. “I’m excited to race with her, and I’m excited to have her at the meets. As my sister, then also just as a teammate and an athlete.”

Rachel and Sarah Forsyth have always been close, and now, as teammates, they’re continuing to grow together while supporting each other.
