🔼 Still Rolling. No. 16 Michigan State men’s basketball extended its win streak to nine games and pushed its Big Ten record to 5-0 thanks to its 78-68 win at Northwestern on Sunday afternoon.
Jaden Akins (14 points), Jase Richardson (13 points) and Jeremy Fears, Jr. (12 points) all scored in double figures for the Spartans.
🔼 Sunday Dub. No. 20/21 Michigan State women’s basketball earned its third Big Ten win of the season on Sunday, 80-68, over Washington on Alumni Day at the Breslin Center.
Julia Ayrault and Grace VanSlooten both scored 19 points to pace the Spartans, followed by Theryn Hallock and Inés Sotelo, who both scored 11 points. VanSlooten added 12 rebounds for her third double-double of the season.
🔼 Still Undefeated. No. 1 Michigan State hockey picked up a 6-4 win at Penn State on Friday night before tying the Nittany Lions on Saturday in Happy Valley, extending its unbeaten streak in Big Ten play to 7-0-2.
The Spartans erased an early 2-0 deficit in Friday’s game, getting five points (four goals, one assist) from Isaac Howard in the comeback win.
🔼 High Marks. No. 3 Michigan State gymnastics earned a second-place finish at the Florida Quad over the weekend in Gainesville, scoring 196.650 as a team to finish behind Florida (196.675).
The Spartans earned season-highs on bars and beam and are now 3-1 thanks to wins in Florida over No. 23 Nebraska and Northern Illinois.

🔼 Running Fast. Michigan State track and field performed well in Ann Arbor this past weekend, its first competition since early December.
Noah Sage won the men’s 600m with a time of 1:18.99, and Valadian Pallett earned a win in the women’s weight throw with a toss of 19.44m to lead the Spartans.
🔼 First Serve. Michigan State women’s tennis participated in its first event of 2025 over the weekend in Ann Arbor at the Michigan Invite.
Amara Brahmbhatt won a pair of singles matches to headline the competition, while Hanna Tsitavets also competed well in her singles and doubles matches with Brahmbhatt.
🔼 B1G Season. Michigan State wrestling dropped a pair of Big Ten duals over the weekend to No. 1 Penn State and Maryland.
The Spartans fell 55-0 to the Nittany Lions on Friday in University Park, Pa. and 27-11 to the Terrapins on Sunday at Jenison Field House. Caleb Weiand (125 pounds), Ceasar Garza (174 pounds) and Remy Cotton (184 pounds) earned wins on Sunday.
