⚾️ 1st Washington series win
👟 7 1st place finishes
💚 And much, much more

🔼 First Ever. The baseball team played its first-ever game in the state of Washington this past weekend. The men beat Washington 6-4 on Friday. Noah Bright hit a two-run homer. Parker Picot had three RBIs. The men secured the series win on Saturday in a 13-8 victory. MSU is the first visiting Big Ten team to win a series at Washington in UW’s two years in the league. Randy Seymour hit two home runs. MSU fell in game three 8-5.

🔼 Run It. The track and field team competed at the Wake Forest Invitational and the Big Red Classic. Over the two meets, the Spartans captured seven first-place finishes. Kate Stewart-Barnett finished first in the steeplechase. Cameron Cheetam took first in the 200m. The men’s 4×100 team also finished first.

🔼 Top 5. The women’s golf team finished in fourth place at the Buckeye Invitational. MSU had a final score 903 (+39) over two rounds. Sarisa Pojanalai led the team in ninth place individually. She had a final score of 224 (+8). Lucia Valderrrama was right behind in 11th place.

🔼 Senior Weekend. The No. 23 men’s tennis team opened its Senior Weekend with a 4-3 win over No. 55 Indiana. The men won one doubles match and three singles matches to secure the win. MSU claimed its first Big Ten Conference Championship since 1967 after beating Purdue 4-1 on Sunday in the regular season finale. The Spartans are co-Big Ten Champions with Ohio State, both finishing 11-1 in B1G action.

🔼 Rowing On. The rowing team competed at the Big Ten Invitational. The Spartans had two second place finish, six third place finishes, three fourth place finishes and one fifth place finish. 

💚 ONE BIG THING

🔼 National Recipient. Michigan State field hockey graduate Maddie Lawlor has been named the national female recipient of the 2026 Big Ten Jackie Robinson Community & Impact Award presented by Discover. Lawlor was selected as Michigan State's female recipient due to her multi-year involvement with Be The Match, now known as the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), and her selfless journey to becoming a bone marrow donor herself.
