🔼 Grand Slam! The baseball team beat Michigan 10-5 on Sunday. CJ Deckinga hit a grand slam in the sixth inning. Randy Seymour hit his team-leading 12th homer of the season. Khamaree Thomas also hit a home run. It was the first career homer. Logan Pikur earned the win on the mound after striking out six batters in 5.0 innings of work.

🔼 On the Diamond. The softball team faced Rutgers this past weekend. After falling in game one 10-2 on Friday, the Spartans came back to win 9-6 on Saturday. Kirsten Caravaca hit a three-run homer in the top of the seventh inning. Carsyn Cassady earned the win in the circle. The women fell in game three 7-4 on Sunday.

🔼 Court Report. The No. 64 women’s tennis team secured a 4-1 win against Rutgers. The women won the doubles point and three singles matches. On Senior Day against No. 44 Maryland, the Spartans fell 4-1. MSU is now 11-11 overall and 8-5 at home.

🔼 Top Eight. The men’s golf team tied for eighth place at the Robert Kepler Collegiate. MSU had a final score of 862 (-2). Caleb Bond led the team. He finished in ninth place individually with a score of 211 (-5). Ashton McCulloch followed in 14th place.
